1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NoteFlow ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NoteFlow is a note-taking application that provides rich text editing, whiteboards, todos, file attachments, AI-powered features, and collaboration tools. The Service is available in free and paid subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or phishing content
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in NoteFlow. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim any ownership rights over your content and will not use it for purposes beyond delivering the Service.

6. AI Features

NoteFlow includes optional AI-powered features such as summarization and rewriting. When you use these features, portions of your content may be sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for processing. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

AI-generated content is provided as-is and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before using it.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

8. Data and Backups

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We provide a backup and restore feature for your convenience.

We are not liable for any data loss resulting from service interruptions, account termination, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoteFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
